Government Law College, Dewas is one of the premiere institutes in Malwa Region of Madhya Pradesh. Formerly, run as a department of Law by the S.K.P. PG College, is one of the oldest institutions imparting legal education since 1968. The college was established for imparting legal education to the poor, needy and downtrodden people. Here at Government Law College, the law courses have been developed in consultation with the legal professionals and other key stake holders to ensure students gain practical, work-ready skills, underpinned by a strong foundation of law, legal theory and professional training.

The faculty of law regularly hosts networking events and career seminars and actively consults with professional bodies on emerging trends and needs in legal profession. We at Government Law College are offering three years LL.B degree course. Two years LL.M. course may commence from Academic year 2021-22 with specializations in Criminal Law, Business Law, Constitutional Law, etc. and Five years Integrated B.A LL.B/B.B.A LL.B. course are also in the pipeline and will commence soon. Apart from these degree Courses we will also offer Diploma in Cyber Law, Diploma in Labour Law & various other contemporary Certificate and Diploma Courses.
